TORQUE WRENCH TESTING, REPAIR, & CALIBRATION

Hytools NZ has been calibrating torque wrenches in New Zealand for many years. Customers from around the country send their torque wrenches, that need servicing, repair and/ or calibration, into our service centre. Here, our calibration technicians, with many years of experience and knowledge, can handle a wide range of brands of torque wrenches. This work is carried out in our purpose built, temperature-controlled laboratory.

Hytools NZ can calibrate and/or test most brands of:

  • Hydraulic Torque Wrenches
  • Battery Torque Multipliers
  • Air Torque Multipliers
  • Manual Torque Wrenches
  • Manual Torque Multipliers
  • High-Pressure Hydraulic Pump gauges, and more.

Testable torque ranges are from 1.1Nm to 10,000Nm (0.81ft.lb to 7,375ft.lb).

A calibrated tool is generally issued with a certificate for proof of accuracy. If all you require is a ‘Tool Check” then we can do this for you as well.

All our transducers are re- certified annually with ISO 9001, ISO 17025 and NATA accredited companies. Mountz test tools comply with ISO 9001:2015 and are constructed from high quality materials, engineered for superior reliability and safety and are recalibrated in their factory every 12 months.

MANUAL TORQUE WRENCH CALIBRATION, SERVICE & REPAIR

Hytools NZ can calibrate Manual Torque Wrenches from as low torque as 2 Nm right up to 2,000 Nm plus. We aim to calibrate Torque Wrenches within 1-2 business days which can vary based upon current workload, adjustment of the tools, and/or spare parts required.

We have different Calibration rates available based on your requirements

  • Calibration without certificate (Calibration sticker only)
  • Calibration with certificate (and Calibration sticker)
  • Calibration with Multi Certificate (3 to 7 Wrenches on one Certificate)

HYDRAULIC CYLINDER & JACK TESTING AND CALIBRATION

Hytools NZ offers Hydraulic Jack and Cylinder calibration and testing within their Onehunga workshop. Our test and calibration rig can safely accommodate loads up to 700 tonnes and the maximum diameter of cylinders that it can accommodate is 580mm with a maximum height of 2600mm.

Once a Hydraulic Cylinder has been calibrated to its dedicated gauge the data is processed, and the relative certificates are then provided for the customer. The rig is also used for load testing Heavy duty Air Hydraulic Jacks.
